Suitable for low-temperature drying of materials that are prone to decomposition, polymerization, and thermal sensitivity at high temperatures; Widely used in industries such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, food, electronics, etc.
2、 Working principle
The so-called vacuum drying refers to heating and drying the dried material under vacuum conditions, and using a vacuum pump to extract air and moisture, which further accelerates the drying rate.
Note: If a condenser is used, the solvent in the material can be recovered through the condenser; If SK series water ring vacuum pump or ZSWJ series hydraulic jet vacuum pump unit is used, a condenser can be omitted, saving energy investment.
3、 Structural characteristics
1. The boiling point of the material solution decreases under vacuum, which increases the heat transfer driving force of the evaporator, thus saving the heat transfer area of the evaporator for a certain amount of heat transfer;
2. The heat source for evaporation operation can be low-pressure steam or hot water heating;
3. The evaporator has less heat loss;
4. Disinfection treatment can be carried out before drying, and there should be no impurities mixed in during the drying process, which meets GMP requirements;
5. It belongs to a static vacuum dryer, so the shape of the dried material will not be damaged.
The dryer consists of a vacuum box, frame, drying rack, heating system, vacuum system, solvent recovery system, and electrical control system
The vacuum box is divided into inner chamber, insulation layer, outer wall, door body, sealing components, and other parts
We use 304 stainless steel sheet with a thickness of 6-8MM for stamping and forming the inner liner. The direct current argon arc welding machine is used for tight welding, and then reinforced with No. 8 channel steel. After the inner liner is formed, it has great compressive strength to ensure that the box body does not deform during vacuum operation
We use aluminum silicate insulation cotton to fill the insulation layer, with a thickness of 80mm. Aluminum silicate insulation cotton has superior insulation performance compared to rock wool, and has the characteristics of no clumping and high temperature resistance. When the oven is heated, the temperature rise on the box surface is ≤ 15 ℃
The outer wall is made of 2mm stainless steel plate and pressed into shape. It is welded with a DC argon arc welding machine and the surface is treated with a matte finish, which is aesthetically pleasing and convenient for online cleaning and sterilization in an oven
The door body is formed by one-time stamping, equipped with dual mirrors, and the sealing parts are all made of special silicone rubber. It is high temperature resistant, high pressure resistant, flexible in opening and closing, and easy to observe the drying condition of the materials inside the box
The rack is made of stainless steel plates that are formed and welded together to support the box and facilitate worker operation
The drying rack is welded with 2mm thick stainless steel pipes
The heating system adopts steam heating, hot water heating, and thermal oil heating. Generally, the heating system is made of seamless stainless steel coils and connected by quick couplings. It has the advantages of fast heating speed, long service life, good sealing, and easy cleaning and maintenance
In order to achieve more uniform and accurate temperature inside the box, a flat heater can be used for heating. The heat source can be steam heating, hot water heating, thermal oil heating, or silicon carbide electric heating plate heating.
When users do not have steam, hot water, or thermal oil heating sources, they can use electric heating, which includes coil type and flat plate type.
When using this device for high-temperature sterilization, open the valve of the exhaust port, set the appropriate working temperature, and use a vacuum pump to extract and remove moisture during operation
The electrical control system adopts a thin-film switch PLD intelligent instrument, equipped with Shanghai Huadong Electric components for temperature control, which has the advantages of high temperature control accuracy (temperature control error less than 1 ℃), convenient and intuitive control, and safe and reliable use
Through PLC intelligent control, automatic adjustment of pressure and temperature inside the box can be achieved and reach the set values. It can also continuously record time, temperature, pressure, and batch number, and print the recorded data.
There are two types of vacuum systems: user provided and randomly equipped. If randomly equipped, it can be integrated with the box or adopt a separate structure, depending on the user's on-site situation. The vacuum system equipped has the characteristics of stable operation, low working noise, and fast vacuum speed
4、 Precautions for use:
1. If the materials dried and sterilized by the vacuum dryer contain a lot of water or solvents (especially on a wet basis), a large amount of volatile gases will be generated instantly, which will damage equipment performance and production safety.
If a mechanical vacuum pump is used, it will quickly cause emulsification of the vacuum oil in the mechanical vacuum pump, leading to its failure and causing the vacuum pump to overheat and burn out. If the volatile substances are toxic, flammable, or explosive gases, production safety will be greatly threatened.
In this case, a condenser, buffer tank, filter, and storage tank will be added to the YZG/FZG vacuum dryer to allow the volatile matter to cool and become liquid. After buffer separation, it will enter the storage tank. When the upper limit of the storage tank is reached, it will be stopped and safely discharged or collected.
2. Some materials require the addition of inert gas during the drying process to prevent oxidation and kill fungi. An inert gas inlet valve needs to be added.
3. The vacuum dryer should be placed indoors with good ventilation and no strong vibration, and flammable and explosive materials should not be placed around it.
4. The shell of the vacuum dryer must be effectively grounded to ensure safe use.
5. When the vacuum dryer does not require continuous pumping, the vacuum valve should be closed first, and then the power supply of the vacuum pump should be turned off to prevent the vacuum pump oil from flowing back into the box.
6. When taking out the processed item, if it is a flammable item, it must be cooled to below the ignition point before being placed in air to prevent oxidation reaction and combustion.
7. The vacuum dryer does not have explosion-proof devices and cannot be dried with explosive materials.
8. It is best to cross the filter between them to prevent moisture from entering the vacuum pump.
9. Do not open the side door unless necessary to avoid damaging the electrical system.
5、 Maintenance and upkeep of vacuum dryer:
1. The vacuum dryer should be kept clean regularly, and the door glass should be wiped with a soft cotton cloth. Avoid using reactive chemical solvents to wipe to prevent chemical reactions and scratches on the glass.
2. If the vacuum dryer is not used for a long time, neutral grease or Vaseline should be applied to non stainless steel parts to prevent corrosion, and a plastic film dust cover should be put on.
3. The vacuum dryer should be placed in a dry room to prevent electrical components from getting damp and affecting its use.
4. When cleaning the interior of the vacuum dryer drying rack, the quick connect pipe can be untied and the drying rack can be dragged out.
5. Inspect and calibrate vacuum pressure gauges, temperature controllers, solenoid valves, and electrical components within a one-year cycle.
6. The temperature sensor is a vulnerable component. If the temperature gauge shows extreme values or does not display temperature, check the sensor.
7. The sealing component of the vacuum dryer door is a vulnerable part. Please replace it if the sealing is ineffective.
8. Regularly inspect the vacuum pump, valves, and pipelines, and promptly maintain any abnormal sounds or leaks found.
